What is ISEE? (How can I calculate my income for ISEE purposes?)
Answer:
The Italian welfare system provides for exemption for the so-called ‘socially weak’ groups, and refers to the ISEE: (en - it) of the household (ISEE = indicatore di situazione economica equivalente, i.e. ‘Equivalent Financial Position Indicator’). The ISEE must be calculated and declared by the citizen concerned, under his/her own responsibility. To this end, monthly pay slips are available on EUI My Data.
