The STG and Stanford University’s Institute for Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence have designed a new Intensive Policy Lab on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Successful governance of AI and related technologies relies on transnational expertise and coordination and the Intensive Policy Lab equips to equip policymakers from the U.S. and Europe with the knowledge and tools they will need to ensure that the benefits of AI are widely shared, and its risks mitigated.
The first edition of the AI Online Intensive Policy Lab will bring together a select group of policymakers, high-level officials, and regulators with leading AI experts from academia and the world of practice, as well as social scientists, data scientists, and tech futurists.
The policy lab sessions are intended to increase the understanding of AI technologies and their legal and transnational implications, and to improve future legislative and regulatory dialogue and outcomes, both domestically and internationally. The group will engage in interactive discussions with experienced trainers and guest lecturers covering a broad range of policy issues related to AI, including near-term challenges and longer-term prospects.
The first AI Intensive Online Policy Lab is upon invitation only. Let us know at [email protected] if you are interested in participating in future labs.
