Over 20 selected national judges gather at the EUI to present and discuss recent competition law cases under the aegis of leading antitrust scholars. Prominent competition law judges from both EU and national instances will share their experiences in keynote speeches.
ENTraNCE for Judges is a training course on EU competition law enforcement addressed to national magistrates from the Member States, organised by the Florence Competition Program of the EUI and co-financed by the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission. Since 2011, more than 320 selected participants have gathered in Florence and online to deepen their knowledge and share their experiences on the subject. The 11th edition of ENTraNCE focused on digital markets and their challenges to competition law enforcement, especially by national courts. During the Final Workshop, the participants confront each other on recent domestic competition law cases benefitting from the analytical review of top-notch competition law academics. As a result of the training, an RSCAS Working Paper publishes the case notes presented by the national judges and contributes to a growing database of otherwise often inaccessible judgements.
