In the framework of the HEC Department Colloquia, this talk features Professor Glenda Sluga on her new book.

In this talk, Glenda Sluga will discuss her new book The Invention of International Order, a study of peacemaking at the end of the Napoleonic wars, and its legacies. The book examines the ideological, institutional and practical transformations and legacies of this historical moment, in particular the gender, class and civilizational ordering implicated in the possibilities for politics between states at the moment of its modern invention.
