The hybrid event, held in Italian, marks the opening to the public of the Société Européenne de Culture (SEC) archives, on deposit at the Historical Archives of the European Union (European University Institute).
The event opens on 11 November afternoon with an Opening Ceremony and a presentation of the Société Européenne de Culture (SEC) archival fonds. On 12 November morning the conference "For a political awareness of the Europe of culture. S.E.C. between yesterday, today and tomorrow" will be held.
The archives of the Société Européenne de Culture (SEC) illustrate its development since its foundation after the war in 1950 on the initiative of the Italian philosopher and jurist Umberto Campagnolo and with the support of other personalities of the European cultural society.
