Join the STG' Young African Leader Fellows' in their talk with the Kenyan activist, public speaker and photographer Boniface Mwangi.
The School of Transnational Governance's Young African Leader Fellows will engage in a conversation with Boniface Mwangi. Mr Mwangi is a Kenyan activist, public speaker and photographer, who focuses on justice and human rights.
After the 2007 elections violence, which resulted in over 1500 deaths and many more thousands injured, Mwangi was determined to capture the events through his photography. Through his art and activism, he has acted as a catalysor for peace and justice. He has been nominated as one of the 100 most influential Young African Leaders in 2017, as well as one of the top 40 influential men under 40 years old in Kenya.
Mr Boniface Mwangi will share his personal story and talk about the role of civil society in the transformation of Africa. The event is part of the "Africa's Potential Series", carried out at the School of Transnational Governance, as part of the Young African Leaders Programme.
