The Competition Law Working Group hosts Assimakis Komninos, Partner, White & Case, and Marixenia Davilla, Counsel, Quinn Emanuel, for a discussion on the General Court Google Shopping case.

After years of litigation, the Google case has finally come to an end. The General Court concluded that Google had indeed anticompetitively favoured its own comparison shopping service over that of its rivals in its search results.

This event hosts two lawyers for a discussion on the outcomes of this crucial decision. They will unravel the reasoning of judges, emphasize on what could have been approached differently and explain what the implications will be in the future, both for Google and more generally for the tech industry.

The Competition Law Working Group is a forum where EUI members and external researchers working on antitrust law and economics issues present and discuss their research and interact with other scholars.
