Next Generation EU offers an extraordinary and unprecedented opportunity to deploy resources sustaining the recovery and preparing the Union for the future, by addressing the major challenges of our times.These important resources, however, are far from being enough.According to many estimates, the EU faces relevant investment gaps in many sectors to reach the objectives it has set for itself, in particular as regards the digital and ecological transitions. To cope with these investment gaps, both public and private resources are needed.
