Join the next Digital Trade Integration webinar series on how different types of copyright policy measures and regulations may facilitate or hinder digital trade, and how they may impact, in practice, on digital trade measurement.

The Digital Trade Integration (DTI) project aims to increase transparency on digital trade restrictions. We are constructing a dataset of digital trade restrictions and an index on digital trade integration, which will be released in the coming months. The methodology is based on international best practices on how to regulate digital trade, leverage the cross-disciplinary exchange between the CIVICA partners.

As part of the DTI project, we have launched a webinar series to feed the methodology of the DTI index. This third webinar will address the debated issue of 'Copyright Regulation: When do policy measures become a trade restriction?'.

We will discuss how different types of copyright policy measures and regulations may facilitate or hinder digital trade, and how they may impact, in practice, on digital trade measurement.

The webinar is chaired by Laurent Manderioux (Bocconi University) and will benefit from the contributions of a distinguished speaker: Dr. Aviv Gaon, Executive Director and faculty member at the Harry Radzyner Law School, Reichman University (IDC Herzliya, Israel).

This webinar is supported by CIVICA Research (grant agreement No 101017201).
