La regolazione dell’audiovisivo nell’ecosistema digitale: nuovi soggetti, obblighi e tutele

The workshop will focus on the recent update of the Directive (EU) 2018/1808 (Audiovisual Media Services Directive) and its implementation in Italy.

The workshop will focus on the recent update of the Directive (EU) 2018/1808 (Audiovisual Media Services Directive) and its implementation in Italy. It will consist of two sessions, bringing academics, regulators, and representatives from Big Tech together to discuss:

• The regulation of Video Sharing Platforms in the new TUMSA;
• Updates of the anti-concentration regulation and protection of media pluralism.

Il workshop discuterà la recente riforma della direttiva sui servizi di media audiovisivi (UE) 2018/1808 e di come sia stata attuata in Italia attraverso il testo unico per la fornitura di servizi di media audiovisivi (Decreto legislativo 8 novembre 2021, n. 208 o TUSMA).

La discussione si focalizzerà soprattutto sulla disciplina delle piattaforme di condivisione video.

Il workshop si occuperà, inoltre, di discutere e commentare la normativa del TUSMA in tema di pluralismo esterno, modificata dal dlgs 208 del 2021 alla luce della sentenza della CGUE nel caso C-719/18 - Vivendi.
