What are the intricacies, difficulties, and payoffs of doing interviews from an interpretivist starting point? In the fourth session of this term, Professor Frederic Schaffer joins Qualifie to give an overview of different strategies of interpretivist interviewing.Among others, he will draw on his book Elucidating Social Science Concepts: An Interpretive Guide to discuss how interviewing helps us in elucidating the meaning of social scientific concepts and how to practically implement such a methodology.
