Depending on the context in which antitrust is enforced, the interests of workers and consumers may either align or collide. Absent any epistemic or philosophical reason for prioritizing one group over the other, balancing interests cannot guide antitrust enforcement. Rather, I argue in favour of recalibrating antitrust, which is currently both too narrow and too broad. Refocusing antitrust analysis on market participants only, but on all market participants, is a promising way to protect workers from illegitimate restrictions, but also to support dynamism and innovation in the long run.
