Global standards for technologies such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Artificial Intelligence play an increasingly critical role in modern infrastructure. The regulation of the licensing framework for standard essential patents (SEPs) is an important component in standardisation strategies.Against this background, the conference will discuss the effects of different measures aimed at influencing international standardisation and regulating the SEP licensing framework. The focus will be on the international dimension – how national policies are impacting global standardisation markets and the risks of fragmentation of global standards to national or regional standards.Practical informationThe registration fee for in-person participation is 150 euros.
