Led by the STG Fellows, the talks are a place for informal learning and exchange on global issues affecting different areas of policymaking. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) was launched on 1 January 2021 but is still struggling to get off the ground. In this STG Talk, the panelist will discuss some of the main issues facing the free trade area such as industrialisation, supply chains, labour mobility, sustainability and foreign direct investment.
