Led by the STG Fellows, the talks are a place for informal learning and exchange on global issues affecting different areas of policymaking. What is corruption and how does it affect people's lives? How do we measure corruption, and most importantly, can anything be done about it? What lessons can be drawn from behavioural science to potentially view anti-corruption policies differently?In this STG talk, Policy Leader Fellows will tackle the origins and effects of systemic corruption and state capture situation in Russia which has lead to political and legal decay, impoverishment and increasing inequality. Discussing the Lava Jato case, the talk will present how prosecuting corrupt politicians and business leaders may have unforeseen consequences.
