Led by the STG Fellows, the talks are a place for informal learning and exchange on global issues affecting different areas of policymaking. The panel will discuss the Republic of Moldova's existing security vulnerabilities in light of the situation in Ukraine and determine the necessary steps to prevent the Transnistrian conflict from escalating as a new threat to security of Europe. There will be prioritised areas for the EU-Moldova collaboration within the Transnistrian peace process for maintaining peace in the region.The discussion will also focus on the perspectives of aligning Moldova’s reintegration process to the process of integration into the European Union, as well as the particularities of the EU enlargement policy, including its intersections with conflict management.
