Two Chair programs at the Robert Schuman Centre are jointly undertaking a new initiative to lead research-based policy discussions on European monetary and economic integration.

The Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa chair and the Pierre Werner chair propose the establishment of an European and Monetary Union Laboratory (EMU Lab) with an interdisciplinary focus to foster dialogue and cutting-edge research among academics, policy makers and market analysts to aim at producing a report (the 'Florence Report') with proposals on completing EMU architecture.

EUI President, Prof Renaud Dehousse, and Prof Erik Jones, director of the Robert Schuman Centre, will both attend the event as well.

The upcoming EMU Lab event is taking place on 9 January 2024 and you can follow the live streaming here: https://youtube.com/live/HabCzKkasFc?feature=share
