PhD degrees and postdocs can serve many purposes. Often, PhDs/postdocs end up accumulating analysis and coding skills as a by-product.This talk aims to equip PhDs and postdocs to take charge and prioritise developing the types of skills that increase their chances for employment and research collaboration with the Tech Industry as part of their PhD/postdoc.The talk will map the most common analytics roles available in the Tech Industry to skill sets and provide examples for how they can be fostered as part of a successful PhD/postdoc.
