Opening of the academic year 2023 – 2024

The EUI School of Transnational Governance (STG) is delighted to welcome Mayor of Florence Dario Nardella to deliver the welcoming speech opening the Academic Year.

The Academic Year will be inaugurated by Mayor Nardella with a speech to the STG community, composed of new and returning students of the School's Master in Transnational Governance, the new cohorts of Policy Leader Fellows, Young African Leader Fellows, senior and visiting fellows, faculty and staff.

Following a welcome by Professor Renaud Dehousse, President of the European University Institute and Professor Alexander Stubb, Director of the School of Transnational Governance, Mayor Nardella will address the audience. His speech will be followed by a Q&A moderated by Professor Emma Less, Director of the Master, with a closing by Marco del Panta, Secretary General of the European University Institute.

The event will be hosted at the STG premises in Palazzo Buontalenti, and attendance is reserved to the STG community.
