In this ADG 'Cover to Cover' book talk, Historian Ivo Maes, Robert Triffin Chair at the University of Louvain and ICHEC Brussels Management School, will present 'Robert Triffin: A Life', co-authored with Ilaria Pasotti and published by Oxford University Press.

Robert Triffin was a Belgian-American economist best known for his critique of the Bretton-Woods system of international monetary management.

In his methodically researched biography Robert Triffin. A Life, Ivo Maes traces out the intellectual career of the illustrious economist.

Join the Alcide De Gasperi Centre for Professor Maes' presentation of the volume, with a discussion by Marco Buti, the EUI Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa Chair in European Economic and Monetary Integration.

‘Cover to Cover’ is organised by the Alcide De Gasperi Research Centre, co-directed by Professor Emmanuel Mourlon-Druol (Department of History) and Dieter Schlenker (Director of the Historical Archives of the European Union), and under the scientific coordination of Dr. Pierre Alayrac.
