Led by the STG Fellows, the talks are a place for informal learning and exchange on global issues affecting different areas of policymaking. Digitalisation is transforming every aspect of our lives, from the way we work to the way we interact with the world around us. Drawing on examples of success stories in food systems and trade from around the world, this talk will provide a better understanding of the complex relationship between digitalisation and sustainability. The panelists will provide a global overview of the Digital Trade Integration Project, a CIVICA and Horizon 2020-funded research project that has created a dataset that will include an index on digital trade integration policies. The overview will also provide insights gained from the project including the pros and cons impacting sustainability of digitalisation.Speakers: Jeremiah Nyambinya, Policy Leader FellowShamira Ahmed, Policy Leader FellowMartina Ferracane, Research Fellow, Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced StudiesCarla Barisone, Master's student, School of Transnational GovernanceModerator: Hillena Thoms, Master's student, School of Transnational GovernancePlease note this is an in-person event.
