The STG Talks, held weekly at the Florence School of Transnational Governance, serve as a space for discussion for the entire EUI community. Led by the Policy Leader Fellows, the Talks are a place for informal learning and exchange on global issues affecting different areas of policymaking.

In this STG Talk we explore the evolving nature of regulation across its entire lifecycle. From the initial stages of appraisal to the nuanced processes of evaluation and oversight, this discussion will delve into the complexities of Monitoring and Evaluation of regulatory frameworks in an ever-changing world.

We will shed light on how effective regulation not only needs thorough planning but also requires continuous evaluation to adapt to societal needs. We will explore ways to enhance regulatory systems to promote transparency, accountability, and public value.

This session is designed for the EUI and STG community, including policy leaders, academics, and others interested in the intricacies of regulatory governance.
