Seminar as part of the EUI Climate Workshop

UNFCCC COP29, scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, between 11-22 November 2024 is expected to deliver landmark results on climate finance (including the ambitious goal of setting a new global climate finance goal for the post-2020 period) and, in the intentions of the Presidency, on global carbon markets with the elaboration of further rules under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. In this workshop, STG Climate experts will guide participants in reading expectations, possible outcomes and geopolitical dynamics between realism and overambition, already with an eye on COP30.

Chair:

Jos Delbeke, EIB Climate Chair, School of Transnational Governance
