Celebrating twenty years of the Max Weber Programme as a leading interdisciplinary postdoctoral community in Law, Political and Social Sciences, Economics, History, and beyond.

The event, open to the MWP current and former fellows and to entire EUI community, reflects on the Max Weber Programme’s intellectual trajectory while fostering dialogue between current and former MWP Fellows on the evolving challenges of producing academically rigorous research with societal impact, publication and professional development.

The conference will feature parallel sessions in Refectory, Sala del Capitolo and Emeroteca and the Keynote Lecture by Sam Friedmann (London School of Economics and Political Science) on "How to Make an Elite: the symbolic market for ordinariness and the long shadow of class origin".
