This workshop, organised in the framework of the EUI Widening Europe Programme initiative, analyses political behaviour in a broad sense and centres around articles covering public opinion and attitudes, voting, elections, political parties, inter-group relations, and political participation. EUI community members are welcome to attend the panel sessions and coffee breaks. Please be aware that, in case of high demand and limited space, attendance may be prioritised for participants with an official role in the workshop. Meals are intended for officially involved participants only.

The EUI Workshop on Political Behaviour in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) brings together scholars, both from the East and the West, who empirically study political realities in CEE through within-country, between-country, or between-region (e.g., East-West) comparison.

The EUI community is invited to join the workshop panels. Due to space constraints in the rooms, please note that workshop participants have priority, and remaining seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The catering service is available for workshop participants only.

The EUI Widening Europe Programme initiative, backed by contributions from the European Union and EUI Contracting States, is designed to strengthen internationalisation, competitiveness, and quality in research in Widening countries, and thus foster a more cohesive European Higher Education and Research area.
