This book explores how different matters and materials - such as textiles, manuscripts, doors, and relics - traveled across the Mediterranean from the 10th to the 20th century. It examines how these objects were repurposed, reinterpreted, and given new meanings through trade, diplomacy, war, and cultural exchange. The presentation will touch upon all these themes as well as the choices made by the editors, and it will be followed by a Q&A.Please register to get a seat or to receive the ZOOM link.
