Focus areas include high-integrity removals, transition credits, and carbon-pricing diplomacy co-benefits across project types and regions, alongside opportunities such as a coal phase-out in the Western Balkans through decarbonisation partnerships. The HLPD will also address carbon pricing diplomacy under Article 6, drawing on experiences from jurisdictions such as Norway, Switzerland, and Singapore to strengthen demand for credible credits amid emerging alliances and EU policy developments.Attendance at this event is by invitation only and all deliberations will take place under the Chatham House rule (no views or positions may be attributed publicly to any participant). Following the recommendations that come out of the discussion, the organisers will publish a policy brief as part of their public mission.
