This event is organised by the European Union Law Working Group.

Like every year, at the end of May, first-year researchers at the Law Department will defend the ideas developed throughout the year in the May Paper Defences. As per convention, the working groups of the Department of Law support them in passing this important milestone.

The Mock May Paper Defences will give the opportunity for first-year researchers to practice their presentations and have a researcher from a later year discuss their May Paper. For the rest of the community, it will be an occasion to learn about and engage with their research, as well as a chance to network. Researchers of all years are warmly welcome to attend.
