The POLINE project is developing a Legal Analytics tool that will be directly usable in the three jurisdictions selected for testing (Italy, Sweden and Bulgaria). The development of the tool is based on a multidisciplinary approach combining theory and practice of judicial decision-making for the study of the concept of judicial principle of law and the analysis of the case-law; legal informatics methods for the creation of an ontology of judicial concepts in VAT and training datasets of manually annotated judicial principles of law; AI, machine learning, and NLP techniques for the automatic extraction of principles, the detection of textual and semantic similarity, and network analysis. This testing event will assess the technical and user-operability capacity of the preliminary version of the tool. The event is by invitation only. Attachments POLINE_Testing_Programme.pdf Partners
