The European University Institute (EUI) will host the SAGA Capitalisation Seminar at the Historical Archives of the European Union in Florence on 14–15 May. The event will present and discuss the results achieved so far within the SAGA project, focusing on policy and governance actions that support the sustainability and resilience of archival institutions.The first day (14 May) will be open to archival professionals and will focus on disseminating the project’s main outcomes and encouraging dialogue with the wider archival community.The second day (15 May) will be dedicated to SAGA project partners, providing an opportunity to review progress, exchange experiences, and discuss the next steps of the project.Topics addressed during the seminar include environmental risks on documentary heritage, monitoring tools and greening strategies for archival institutions. the project’s Hybrid Workshops, the Monitoring Tool, and a Sustainability and Greening Strategy for archival institutions. Participants will also explore the project’s transnational action plans and management policies designed to help archival institutions address climate change and man-made risks.
