This mini-conference brings together leading scholars to examine how corporate law and financial regulation can evolve to meet these challenges across European and global contexts. The first session explores how law can support innovation and transparency – from the evolving flexibility of startup corporate law and building a pan-European venture capital ecosystem to the effectiveness of climate-related corporate disclosures. The second session addresses the governance and regulatory dilemmas posed by digital assets, including decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs), prospective EU rules for crypto lending and how cryptocurrency regulation intersects with efforts toward financial inclusion. Together, these debates ask whether traditional legal tools remain sufficient or need to be rethought in today’s new business environment. The Zoom link will be shared upon registration.
