Seminars play a central role in shaping the professional climate of our department. In this session, we will share findings from our study on seminar dynamics at the EUI Department of Economics. Building on last year’s departmental survey, this follow-up draws on two data sources, a detailed study of the seminar dynamics and a survey on researchers’ perceptions of it. Together, these results aim to fill a gap in understanding our professional environment and to shed light on how we can foster a more constructive seminar climate.
