Multidisciplinary Research Workshop - Max Weber Programme

The workshop brings together scholars from law, history, economics, and political science to explore how norms and inequalities related to gender and sexuality are challenged, contested, and reconfigured through advocacy, activism, and institutional change. 

The workshop will integrate discussions of comparative legal frameworks and human rights, gender history, organizational studies, and socio-political analyses, creating opportunities for participants to share methodological approaches and empirical as well as theoretical insights across disciplines. By examining case studies as well as broader reflections across disciplines and regions, we aim to identify both the tensions and transformative potentials inherent in current movements for gender and sexual justice.
