Before joining UL, he has been the Founding Director of the Department Materials Research and Technology (MRT) at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), Director of Research at the CNRS in Grenoble and Dpt.

Vice-President of the Grenoble Institute of Technology. Jens is a strong proponent of interdisciplinary approaches to tackle today’s complex challenges, from digital transformation to climate change and inequality.
