Democracy and its erosion: conceptualization and measurement challenges

The Standing Groups “Political Regimes” and “Political Research Methods” of the Italian Political Science Association (SISP) organize a one-day workshop devoted to the study of democracy and its erosion from multiple conceptual and methodological angles.

This one-day workshop brings together scholars working on conceptual and measurement challenges related to the study of democracy, regime transformations, and public support for democracy. The workshop is structured in four sessions: three paper discussion sessions and a keynote lecture by Professor Elias Dinas (EUI).
