This event will bring together researchers, policy experts, and institutional representatives to deepen collaboration at the intersection of artificial intelligence, governance, and society in the context of the EUI-TRUST partnership.
The discussion will focus on aligning ongoing research agendas and identifying areas of joint work to develop AI systems that are not only innovative but also ethically grounded, transparent, and accountable. Participants will exchange perspectives on the evolving European policy landscape, including regulatory initiatives, standards-setting processes, and the broader challenges of implementing trustworthy AI in practice.
Particular attention will be given to the role of the EUI as a leading academic institution in bridging technical research and policy design, and in fostering interdisciplinary approaches that integrate law, the social sciences, and computer science. The roundtable will focus on opportunities for joint projects.
At the EUI and the Robert Schuman Centre, we are dedicated to removing barriers and providing equal opportunities for everyone. Please indicate your accessibility needs, if any, on the registration form. Alternatively, you can contact the event logistics organiser.
