The 2022 call for applications for the European Court of Auditors (ECA) Postgraduate Research Grant is now open.

The ECA research grants support scholars with an interest in EU public finance in taking advantage of the holdings of the Historical Archives of the European Union, where the archives of the Court of Auditors and its predecessor the Audit Board are deposited.

The grant programme, launched in 2007 and now in its sixteenth year, is open to early career postgraduates and academics from a range of disciplines, including law, political science, economics, sociology, public administration and history. The programme has supported original research on topics such as EU development policy, funding priorities in environmental initiatives, the development of audit methodology, EU regional policy, and more.

Complete information on eligibility requirements and the grant conditions may be found here. The deadline to apply is 25 June 2022.
