The European Society of International Law, whose Secretariat is based at the EUI's Academy of European Law, is organising its 2023 Research Forum, which will be hosted by the School of Law of the University of Tartu. The Forum will take place on 27-28 April 2023, in Estonia.

The theme of this year's Forum is "Regional Developments of International Law in Eastern Europe and Post-Soviet Eurasia". EUI Law Professor Neha Jain, and Co-Director of the Academy of European Law, will chair a panel on Post-Soviet Eurasia.

The ESIL Research Forum promotes engagement with in-progress research by early-career scholars in a small and intensive format. Approximately 20-25 paper submissions are selected, and speakers receive comments on their presentations from members of the ESIL Board and invited experts. The event is also an opportunity for mentoring and career-development activities.

More information about the Research Forum programme is available here.
