Marie Curie Fellow Fabio Santeramo, who focuses his research on the relationship between climate change, trade and agriculture, has just accepted to join the Advisory Board of Food Policy. This journal's brand -and strength- is high quality papers with an explicit tie to food policy. The journal is widely recognized as one of the top journals in related fields, such as agricultural sciences, development studies, economics, etc.

Serving as Member of the Advisory Board of Food Policy is a terrific opportunity to contribute shaping the international debate on issues of great relevance. It will give me the opportunity to be not only a privileged spectator, but also pro-active in fostering research that may help solving the challenges that climate changes, political instabilities, and interconnectedness of the value chains put on the global agri-food systems.

The sustained success of the journal owes a lot to an outstanding team of Co-Editors and to an eminent and engaged set of Advisory Board members from world-class Institutions such as University of Cambridge, Iowa State University, Cornell University, and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).

As member of the Advisory Board, Fabio Santeramo will provide expert guidance on the review process, help promoting the debate on timely and relevant topics, and support the editors in taking strategic decisions to foster the growth of the Journal.
