In our latest Schuman Shelf, Andrew Geddes, Professor of Migration Studies and the Director of the Migration Policy Centre, presents his latest book 'Governing Migration Beyond the State: Europe, North America, South America, and Southeast Asia in a Global Context. The book examines the drivers of migration governance across different geographical regions in order to understand how local cultural understandings affect policy and institutional responses to different forms of migration.
