Under the agreement, the EUI and Bocconi University aim to implement their cooperation in the fields of social sciences and humanities.

Both parties will develop a series of joint education and research activities, including workshops and executive education trainings; organise exchanges for staff and researchers; and implement a programme for the international mobility of master’s students of both institutions.

According to the new International Mobility Programme, master’s students may spend a semester at the partner university. In September 2021, two Bocconi students will join the Master in Transnational Governance at the EUI’s School of Transnational Governance (STG) for their semester “abroad”.

Bocconi University, founded in 1902, is a leading European University in Economics, Management, Law and the Social Sciences, offering Bachelor, Master and PhD programs. For a century, Bocconi has played a leading role in Italy's social and economic modernisation.

The EUI and Bocconi are established partners through the European University of Social Sciences, also known as CIVICA. Under that alliance, early stage researchers in our doctoral and postdoctoral programmes may take advantage of training and other opportunities across the consortium. We are pleased to establish a new bridge between the EUI and Bocconi that includes, among other aspects of the academic agreement, new opportunities for master's students at both institutions.
