The agreements with the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze and Fondazione MUS.E play a vital role in the EUI’s OPEN project, which aims to connect academia with cultural institutions and wider audiences, strengthening the Institute’s presence within the local and international cultural landscape.

The renewed framework agreement between the EUI and the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze builds on a collaboration first established in 2023 and aims to further promote joint initiatives in artistic research, education, and public engagement.

The partnership will continue to support exchanges of students, researchers, and staff, as well as collaborative projects such as exhibitions, scientific events, and training activities.

Alongside this renewal, the new agreement with Fondazione MUS.E opens additional opportunities for cooperation in the cultural sector, including educational activities and the co-design of exhibitions and public events involving EUI researchers.

Together, these partnerships reflect the EUI’s commitment to fostering interdisciplinary dialogue while strengthening its ties with key cultural institutions in Florence. They also provide a framework for developing joint projects, enhancing public outreach, and creating new opportunities for students and researchers to engage with the city’s rich cultural heritage.
