Abiola Adeleke is an Economist at the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, where he advances regulatory reforms to strengthen Nigeria’s power sector and accelerate clean energy deployment. He is shaping frameworks for the $750 million World Bank–financed DARES project, which will provide electricity access to 17.5 million Nigerians. Previously, he worked in PwC Nigeria’s Tax and Regulatory practice. Abiola co-organised Nigeria’s first National Renewable Energy Summit and, as a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum, has led climate leadership trainings with the Climate Reality Project. A Three Cairns Fellow at Yale, he is dedicated to driving Africa’s energy transition.
