Biography

António Pedro Giro is a Manager at PwC Middle East, specialising in customs, international trade, and supply chain advisory. With over a decade of experience in the field, he has led strategic projects for multinational corporations in sectors such as manufacturing, e-commerce, consumer goods, and logistics—focusing on supply chain optimization, market entry strategy, and regulatory compliance. António also advises public sector entities in the GCC on trade facilitation and policy reform. He contributes to the IBFD Tax Research Platform and lectures on EU Customs Law at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Porto and postgraduate qualifications from King’s College London in EU Competition Law.
