Biography

Dainis Lasmanis is a Latvian Attorney-at-Law (Zvērināts Advokāts) specialising in litigation and strategic dispute resolution, particularly in banking and finance, as well as administrative and civil law. Alongside managing a law practice, he develops litigation and negotiation strategies and leads multidisciplinary teams of lawyers and experts in complex disputes. He advises and represents financial institutions, businesses and public authorities, including before the Court of Justice of the European Union. Earlier in his career, he served at the Supreme Court of Latvia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working on administrative and EU institutional law.
