Biography

Professor Dr. Fatma Çiğdem Çelik is an economist and Senior Lecturer at Istanbul Okan University and Istanbul Bilgi University.
The lectures she gives are on microeconomics, macroeconomics, energy economics and agricultural economics.
Fatma has been studying power markets since 2000 onwards. Fatma is on a sabbatical leave for the fall term of 2022 from her home institutions.
During her staying at the European University Institute as Visiting Fellow of Water, she will be searching and collecting resources related to her project about energy poverty and the nexus of energy, agriculture and water.
