Biography

František Novotný is a senior public servant with 13 years of experience in EU affairs. He currently serves as Director of European Policies at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, where he oversees EU financial and economic policy matters.

Prior to his current role, he spent a decade as Senior Diplomat at the Permanent Representation of the Slovak Republic to the European Union, where he focused on regional policy, the EU budget, and the Multiannual Financial Framework.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Masaryk University and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
