Gerard Maideu-Morera holds a MSc and PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics, and BSc in Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He is a macroeconomist with research interests in economic growth and technical change, labour economics, dynamic contracting theory and applications, and public finance. His current work studies how to incorporate non-wage job amenities, such as job safety or schedule flexibility, into macroeconomic aggregates to improve our measurements of economic growth and its sources.As a Max Weber Fellow, Gerard aims to collaborate with other MW Fellows, and faculty and PhD researchers of the EUI economics department to further develop his research agenda and start new projects.
