Biography

Krzysztof Kirdzik is a career diplomat with broad hands-on experience in Russia and European policy. After earlier work in the private sector, he joined the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2016. Currently posted to the Polish Embassy in London, he focuses on Russia and European affairs. From 2020 to 2023, as head of the MFA’s Russia Unit, he coordinated a team of outstanding professionals working on Poland’s bilateral and EU-level policy towards Russia. Earlier in his career, he was posted to Saint Petersburg.

Krzysztof holds degrees in History and Slavic Studies from the University of Gdańsk and speaks Polish, English, Russian, and Croatian.
