Leopoldo Pérez Obregón is a Research Associate at the Florence School of Banking and Finance. He graduated as a lawyer from Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires, and holds a master’s degree in public policy from Maastricht University and the United Nations University–MERIT in the Netherlands. He is part of the SSM team at the Florence School of Banking and Finance, where he edits the Banking Supervision Policy Working Paper Series in the context of our partnership with the European Central Bank. Before academia, he worked for over six years as a capital markets lawyer and supervisor at Argentina's Financial Authority.
